Why Is New Bid Suggesting I Increase My Bid If My ACoS Is High?

If you have a target with a high ACoS, and you've lowered your bid price to below what New Bid would recommend in order for you to meet your Target ACoS, New Bid may suggest an increase based on the bid price you'd need to set to hit your target.

Example:

  • Your target had an ACoS of 140% with a target of 40%.
  • Based on your data, New Bid suggested you lower the bid to $0.35, but you lowered it to $0.20.
  • New Bid will still suggest $0.35, because that is the optimal bid you can set to achieve your Target ACoS
